Common Fault
No Hot Water?
We Fix It Today Across Surrey.
Losing hot water is one of the most common boiler faults. Our engineers carry the parts to fix most causes on the first visit.
Common Causes of No Hot Water
🔥 Combi Boiler
- Faulty diverter valve
- Failed thermistor or sensor
- PCB (control board) failure
- Low boiler pressure
- Blocked heat exchanger
💧 System/Regular Boiler
- Faulty immersion heater element
- Failed motorised zone valve
- Thermostat set incorrectly
- Cylinder thermostat failure
- Pump not circulating
Quick Checks Before Calling
- Check the boiler display for any error codes (note them down)
- Check boiler pressure โ should be between 1 and 1.5 bar
- Check the thermostat is set above the current temperature
- Check the programmer or timer is set correctly
- Try resetting the boiler (press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds)
If none of these work, call us. Do not attempt to open or repair the boiler yourself.
