How Air Source Heat Pumps Work

Air source heat pumps extract heat energy from outside air — even in cold weather — and use it to heat your home and water. For every 1 unit of electricity they use, they typically produce 2.5 to 4 units of heat energy (the coefficient of performance, or CoP).

Types of Heat Pump We Install

Government Grants Available

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) currently offers a £7,500 grant toward the installation of an air source heat pump or £7,500 for a ground source heat pump. This grant is available to homeowners in England and Wales and does not need to be repaid.
